Fees and Expenses

Application And Entrance Exams Fees:
Applicants must complete the University Application Admission Form and pay a non-refundable application fee of L.L. 120,000 , which is equivalent to US $80 for undergraduates. The non-refundable graduate application fee is L.L. 145,000, which is equivalent to $97. The non-refundable post-graduate application fee is L.L. 160,000, which is equivalent to $106.
Tuition Fees
* ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) offered at Sin-El-Fil Campus where French is the Language of Instruction.

The university reserves the right to change any or all fees at any time without prior notice.
LIBRARY AND LABORATORY DEPOSIT FEE
A library and laboratory deposit fee of L.L 250,000 is required of every student enrolling in UOB. This deposit is held until the student graduates or discontinues his course of study, at which time the deposit, minus debts incurred, will be returned.
NATIONAL SOCIAL SECURITY FUND (NSSF)-MEDICAL BRANCH
Lebanese Law requires Lebanese students to enroll in the NSSF medical branch. The fee for the year is 30% of the legal minimum salary.
STUDENT ACTIVITY FEE
A fee of L.L. 210,000 is charged every semester to cover student activities.
INTERNET FEE
A fee of L.L. 42,000 is charged every semester to cover student internet services.
LATE REGISTRATION FEE
A L.L. 100,000 late registration fee is charged to all students who register during the late registration period.
DEFERRED PAYMENT
Students who fail to honor a deferred payment arrangement are charged a late payment fee of L.L 50,000.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
Payment should be made by certified bank check or banker’s check payable to the University of Balamand at the Cashier’s Office or cash at the bank.

WITHDRAWALS
If a duly registered student withdraws for justifiable reasons, the following refund schedule will be applied:
Refunds are not made for the summer session.
