Beirut Arab University
Founded in 1960, Beirut Arab University (BAU) is a private Lebanese institution for higher education that has established itself as a nationally and internationally recognized and respected university. BAU attained in 2015 International Institutional Accreditation from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA). With more than 45 undergraduate programs and 95 postgraduate programs across a broad range of fields, BAU provides a rich and rewarding educational environment to around 8,500 undergraduate students and 1300 postgraduate students from Lebanon and other countries. Since its establishment, BAU has graduated over 111,000 alumni who hold excellent positions and reside around the world. BAU has 4 campuses located in Beirut, Debbieh, Tripoli and Bekaa and currently encompasses 10 Faculties: Faculty of Human Sciences, Faculty of Law & Political Science, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Architecture-Design and Built Environment, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry and Faculty of Health Sciences.
All faculties offer bachelor, master and PhD degrees for the different programs.

Tripoli Branch Campus
Situated in the heart of the Mina Region in one of the calmest areas in Tripoli, this beautiful campus overlooking the Mediterranean Sea has been receiving learners since the year 2010.
Tripoli Branch comprises five faculties so far; the Faculty of Business Administration, the Faculty of Architecture – Design and Built Environment, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Science, and the Faculty of Health Sciences.
The Branch also provides a multitude of facilities that offer various services to students, staff, researchers, and visitors.

Faculty of Business Administration
The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), established in 1961, is one of the ten existing faculties of BAU that are fully recognized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Lebanon. FBA has three academic departments: Accounting, Business Administration and Economics. Our strategy is to modernise our programs and enhance their quality. Consequently, in 2015, FBA was awarded with the FIBAA Quality Seal for its BBA and MBA programmes to become the first programmes accredited by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) in Lebanon and the region.
To receive a Bachelor Degree in a Business Administration major, a student must satisfactorily complete 100 credit hours.

Faculty of Architecture – Design & Built Environment
The Faculty of Architecture – Design and Built Environment, founded in 1962 as the fourth faculty (initially “Faculty of Architectural Engineering”) at Beirut Arab University (BAU) has undergone many developments to keep in line with international approaches in architecture.
In 2012, the Faculty has been awarded by the international accreditation given by RIBA; Royal Institute of British Architects. The accreditation was awarded for five years 2012-2017. It enabled students to obtain the RIBA Part I certificate after year 5 (The Graduation Year). The accreditation was successfully renewed for new five years 2017-2022 with the RIBA’s approval on the required readjustment; RIBA Part I after year 4 (Bachelor of Architecture) and RIBA Part II after year 6 (Master of Architecture).

Faculty of Engineering
The Faculty of Engineering (FE) at Beirut Arab University was established in recognition of the national and regional need for engineering education in 1975.
In a collaborating effort to provide students with the opportunity to participate in practical projects that exhibit and demonstrate their skills and knowledge, the Faculty established mutual incorporation and contacts with various industrial stakeholders.
Today, the Faculty of Engineering at Beirut Arab University is consistently ranked among the top leading engineering schools in Lebanon and the region.

Faculty of Health Sciences
The Faculty of Health Sciences is the most recent addition to Beirut Arab University faculties. The Faculty was established to meet the rising needs for professionals specialized in health- related sciences, namely Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, Medical Laboratory Technology & Physical Therapy.
In June 2016, the Physical Therapy Department earned accreditation of the B.Sc. in Physical Therapy Programme, from the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) for 5 years. In May 2017, the Faculty hosted an on-site visit of the German accreditation agency AHPGS and in July 2017, the Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics and Medical Laboratory Technology programs, received unconditional accreditation from the German accreditation agency AHPGS.

Financial Aid & Scholarships – Tripoli Campus
- Financial Aid to newly admitted students based on their academic achievements and financial needs.
- 20 Scholarships that cover up to 50% of the tuition fees are awarded to high school students (nominated by their high schools) with outstanding academic qualifications, provided that the minimum average in the Lebanese General Secondary Certificate should be 14/20.
- Merit Scholarships are awarded to the 5 highest ranking students in each of the four branches of the Lebanese General Secondary Certificate in the North. These Scholarships cover up to 80% of tuition fees of the first semester and may be maintained as long as the recipients’ SGPA is 3 and above.
- Free Transportation for students living in Akkar, Mennieh and Dennieh, based on the number of students.
- Up to 40% Reduction on the Intensive English Courses fees.
Siblings Discount
All students who have (a) sibling(s) enrolled at the University during the same semester are eligible for a 12.5% discount on their overall tuition fees. The discount is applicable to each one of the siblings. The total deduction of all siblings will not exceed the total fees of any of the siblings.
Ranking Scholarship
Each semester, a maximum of 5 top students, at each level of all undergraduate programs, who have completed 15 credits and above and having minimum SGPA 3.5, are exempted from a percentage of the subsequent semester tuition fees according to the rank as shown in Table 1. The number of scholarships is determined according to the number of students as shown in Table 2:
Merit Scholarship
BAU annually grants a full scholarship to one of the 10 highest ranking students in each of the four branches of the Lebanese Secondary School Certificate (one from each branch). These students can maintain their scholarships during their undergraduate study as long as they get a SGPA of 3.5 or above according to Ranking Scholarship rules.
