Q. What is the Bachelor of Technology degree in Telecommunications and Networks?

A. The Bachelor of Technology in Telecommunications and Networks Engineering at the University of Balamand enables students to develop and demonstrate understanding of telecommunication theory.

 

Graduates are able to plan, apply and validate telecommunications processes in practice.

They should also be able to configure and test networking equipment, including digital telecommunication systems and modules.

Q.  What about the Program of study? Is the Program available on the three campuses of the University of Balamand?

A. The Bachelor of Technology in Telecommunications and Networks Engineering is awarded upon completion of a study program of 100 credits. The program is available on the Balamand main campus in Koura, or on the Akkar campus (Beino), in both English and French.

A. The Program is designed to provide its graduates with a solid educational foundation on which they can build successful and sustainable careers in telecommunications engineering or a related field.

A. Holders of a degree in Telecommunications and Networks Engineering can find employment in a variety of industries, ranging from companies wanting telecom operators to those seeking experts in the use and maintenance of computers and networking services. Positions open to graduates are highly diversified and include the following: networks architect, computer networks and telephony administrator, radio engineer, network security engineer, systems engineer, mobile networks engineer, programmer.
