Mr. Emile Whaibeh, instructor at the Public Health Department, Faculty of Health Sciences, and Graduate Students in the Master of Public Health program Ms. Jowy Abi Hanna and Ms. Corelle Wehbe Maalouf participated in the 1st International Climate Change and Health Conference, hosted by the Jordan University of Science and Technology.
Mr. Whaibeh presented the preliminary findings from the Environmental exposures in Lebanese Infants (EELI) Study, focusing on the methods and contextual considerations to launch a birth cohort in the Eastern Mediterranean Region.
Ms. Abi Hanna presented the results of asub-study under EELI, tackling the association
between outdoor and indoor environment and
the mental wellbeing of Lebanese Mothers
during COVID-19.
