Beirut Arab University

BAU is a private Lebanese institution for higher education committed, since its foundation in 1960, to promote quality education. BAU has a relatively long history and a substantial presence in the Middle East and has attained in 2015 International Institutional Accreditation from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA). It offers 45 undergraduate programs and 95 postgraduate programs across a broad range of fields providing a rich and rewarding educational environment to around 8,000 undergraduate students and 1,400 postgraduate students from Lebanon and other countries. BAU has graduated over 113,000 alumni who hold excellent positions and reside around the world.

Tripoli Branch Campus

Situated in the heart of the Mina Region in one of the calmest areas in Tripoli, this beautiful campus overlooking the Mediterranean Sea has been receiving learners since the year 2010.

Tripoli Branch comprises five faculties so far; the Faculty of Business Administration, the Faculty of Architecture – Design and Built Environment, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Science, and the Faculty of Health Sciences.

The Branch also provides a multitude of facilities that offer various services to students, staff, researchers, and visitors.

Faculty of Business Administration

The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) was established in 1961 and has three academic departments: Accounting, Business Administration and Economics. In 2015, FBA has attained international accreditation for its BBA and MBA programmes by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA).

To receive a Bachelor Degree in a Business Administration major, a student must satisfactorily complete 100 credit hours.

Faculty of Architecture – Design & Built Environment

The Faculty of Architecture – Design and Built Environment was established in 1962.

In 2012, the Faculty has been awarded by the international accreditation given by RIBA; Royal Institute of British Architects. The accreditation was successfully renewed for new five years 2017-2022 with the RIBA’s approval on the required readjustment.

Faculty of Engineering

The Faculty of Engineering (FE) at Beirut Arab University was established in 1975. The faculty offers bachelor, master and PhD degrees for nine different programs.

The Faculty of Science was established in 1976. It offers a Bachelor of Science Degree in the following seven specializations: Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Biochemistry.

The bachelor of computer science program, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science has been accredited by the computing Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

Faculty of Health Sciences

The Faculty of Health Sciences was established in 2005. It offers four undergraduate programs: Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, Medical Laboratory Technology & Physical Therapy. In 2016, the Physical Therapy Department earned accreditation of the B.Sc. in Physical Therapy Programme, from the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT). In 2017, the Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics and Medical Laboratory Technology programs, received unconditional accreditation from the German accreditation agency AHPGS.
