AUT and Arab Academy for Science Technology and Maritime Transport to Initiate Collaboration

Hinain met with AASTMT President Dr Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag and the VP for International Relations Dr Hanane Gouda as well as with Dr Azza Heikal, dean of Media Studies. The text of the agreement is now being finalized and will be signed by AUT President Ghada Hinain and Dr Farag in Lebanon end of October 2014. The general director of the Tripoli Port, Dr Ahmad Tamer, accompanied Hinain on his visit to Alexandria as he is a member of the AASTMT Board, representing Lebanon, and is also an AUT Advisory Board member.
The agreement will open new horizons for students of Transport Management and Journalism. Joint Master Degrees will be available to students of both institutions in addition to faculty and student exchange and joint research.
