Message from the Dean
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is an entity that transcends the traditional academic domain. It is a live and dynamic sphere for all types of activities that enrich and develop the educational and cultural repertoire. Likewise, it is a laboratory for ideas and creativity. Thus, university life, as we envisage it, is not restricted to lecturing; rather, it is the fruitage of a positive interaction between the professor and the student who in no way could be separated by any impediment.
Visiting scholars, lectures, publications, workshops, theatrical works, evening musical performances, and plastic art exhibitions portray the display of extra-curricular activities that take place in our Faculty.
With the efforts of professors and students, we have been able to render the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences a center for knowledge and culture, a place for dialogue and discussion, and a field for various art practices.
