Inaugurating the Center of Excellence in Teaching and Learning at City University
In the framework of implementing the plan for the development of learning and teaching techniques, City University inaugurated the Learning and Teaching Excellence Center (CULTEC).
The Center was inaugurated in the presence of the Director General of Higher Education, the director of the Erasmus+ Program in Lebanon, the representatives of Lebanese universities participating in the EU-funded E-TALEB Program, and a number of City University faculty members and students.
CULTEC aims at developing the skills of the faculty body thanks to the adoption of modern pedagogy and the preparation of the students to acquire knowledge through communicative learning methods, which will eventually enhance their level of knowledge acquisition.
CULTEC will serve to introduce faculty members to innovative teaching methodologies that promote excellence in teaching and learning at CITYU. Upon partaking in the various activities held at the Center, participants will be granted certificates of attendance.
